We fundraise and raise awareness for Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center. We believe in doing what we can to help our community, and uplifting the spirits of those who need services at the hospital as well as their family members. In the past we have put together gift bags for patients as well as raised money for the hospital directly through events like raffles and fundraising tables.

Hello, I'm super excited to see so much interest in the Spanish club this year! typically Typically we are an all level spanish conversation table that meets in gorham, (we could also do a meet in portland) and we do fun things like watching Encanto or translating our favorite songs into english or Spanish. Later today I'm going to send out a google form about when we can meet and leadership roles since some of our conversation leaders have graduated. If you take a leadership role you will have the opportunity to truly make the club your own. Last year we were pretty much just a fun conversation table but now, we're official and can get funding from the BSO so please inquire if you have a vision for where you would like to see this club.

The USMMUN strives to provide a forum for discussion of international issues, events, and relations through intellectually stimulating and academically challenging debate and writing for USM students. It also aims to support a Model UN travel team which will participate in collegiate Model UN conferences.

Members will have the opportunity to participate in collegiate Model UN conferences that take place around the country. Members will also improve critical and marketable skills such as public speaking, academic writing, and knowledge of international current events. Model UN conferences also provide chances to network with other ambitious students.
